My Story

My name is Cassandra Lapsley. I am a registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and I have spent 33 years working at the intersection of clinical care, community health, and patient advocacy.

I have worked in the ICU and trauma settings. I have implemented federally funded community health programs for the NIH. I have served veteran populations within the VA Healthcare System. I have conducted mammography outreach for underserved women in Alabama. I have coordinated city-wide health fairs in Columbia, South Carolina. And through all of it, one thing has remained constant — those in the most need of health education and support are the ones least likely to receive it.

Working women. Women in midlife. Women caring for everyone else while quietly struggling with symptoms they cannot explain, providers who dismiss their concerns, and a healthcare system that was simply not built with them in mind.

I also spent time working in the Healthcare System — and what I witnessed there stayed with me. Veterans being readmitted within 30 days for the same diagnosis. Patients sent home without truly understanding their medications. Discharge instructions that were handed over but never understood. Family members expected to change wound dressings and manage complex care needs with no real training or support.

And it did not stop there. Patients and families struggling to manage chronic health conditions at home. Missed appointments leading to preventable complications. People caught in a cycle of crisis care because no one had ever taken the time to sit with them, explain what was happening, and equip them to manage their own health with confidence.

That is why I founded Premier Concierge Nursing Services.

This is not a clinic. There are no rushed appointments, no overbooked waiting rooms, and no one telling you your labs look fine when you know something is wrong. This is personalized, one-on-one health education and nursing support — delivered by a registered nurse who has seen the gaps in this system and made it her mission to fill them.

You deserve clear answers. You deserve a trusted advocate. And you deserve someone who will sit with you, hear you, and walk you through what is happening in your body with honesty and care.

That is what I do. That is who I am.
